PE 50 is a physically cross-linked, closed-cell material used for packaging and shock absorption. It withstands temperatures ranging from –30°C to +70°C.
Alveosoft is a softer material with semi-closed cells that is used for air sealing and in the construction industry, for example in windows and as an intermediate layer in sheet metal. It can withstand temperatures of up to +90°C.
The temperature range varies between grades: Alveolit withstands –40°C to +100°C, Plastazote –70°C to +95°C, Evazote –70°C to +65°C and PE 50 –30°C to +70°C.
