Soundfelt® REC and Horda Stans for sustainable development!

Our flagship product is Soundfelt® REC, a sound-absorbing material made from PET bottles and textile offcuts, which we have developed to meet the specific needs of the HVAC and furniture industries. Soundfelt® REC is a better option, both environmentally and acoustically, than many other traditional materials on the market.

The demand for environmentally friendly materials and processes is growing rapidly. We place great emphasis on identifying new environmentally friendly acoustic materials or developing new ones in collaboration with our most innovative suppliers. Recycled and eco-friendly materials often go hand in hand with competitive prices and improved performance. It is vital that the acoustic performance of the material is also optimised using the right ingredients and processes to ensure a fit-for-purpose end product. We have all the necessary expertise in this area through our partners, but above all through Horda Stans’ own acoustics specialist.Read more about this!

In 2020, we completed the 2,000 m² extension, and in 2023 we added a further 1,000 m², including new conference rooms!

Soundfelt®REC consists mainly of recycled PET bottles and polyester. In some cases, we also reuse our customers’ processed fabric offcuts from their own production in this product.

The range of applications seems endless! The material can be processed using almost all our methods, such as punching, sawing, moulding, 2D cutting, 3D robotic cutting, lamination and industrial sewing.

We are, of course, very proud and delighted that so many customers are using our Soundfelt® REC in their products. This gives us the energy to keep developing!
