Sustainability has been at the heart of our business since we were founded in 1974. Today, we develop resource-efficient materials such as recycled textiles, polymers and acoustic products with a low environmental impact.
During the 1990s, we experienced strong growth, particularly in the automotive industry, where we began supplying sound-absorbing materials made from recycled textiles.
Our strength lies in our flexibility, our extensive knowledge of materials, our technical advice and our ability to deliver bespoke solutions with short lead times.
We are continuing to invest in automation, skills development and sustainable materials in order to achieve profitable growth. We have also been recognised as a key local growth driver in Värnamo Municipality.
We have a modern range of machinery and a flexible production process capable of handling everything from prototypes to large-scale production runs – backed by extensive expertise in materials and advanced machining techniques.
Our corporate culture is characterised by development, a willingness to embrace change and a strong focus on sustainability. Resource efficiency and technical innovation go hand in hand at our company.
From the very beginning, our business was based on making use of materials that would otherwise have been discarded and transforming them into useful products – an early form of sustainable production.
Horda Stan was founded in 1974 under the name Horda Packningsindustri AB, specialising in the recycling of second-grade rubber sheeting and short rolls for the manufacture of gaskets.
We are based in Horda in Jönköping County, Sweden, where our entire production is still based. This location enables us to achieve short lead times and maintain close customer relationships.
